Wii Specifications

With the introduction of the Nintendo Wii to the market, the system was introduced with lots of fanfare and excitement. Buyers were lined up at the stores ready to purchase one. The system ran out of stock at many of the retail stores and customers were buying them up to sell at higher prices on web sites like Ebay. However the real question is whether the system truly deserves all of the hype. Here's a breakdown of the Nintendo WIi specifications.
System Size & Specs - The Nintendo Wii certainly was designed with portability in mind. It is only 1.75 inches tall and weighs in at a light weight 3.84 pounds. There are many laptops that are larger than this. The processor power of the system is made by IBM PowerPC and it contains 512 MB of Random Access Memory. The Nintendo Wii also includes a flash card capability that can hold up to 512 MB of capacity. It has a video output made by ATI Hollywood for great visual effects. It can also play Nintendo Game Cube games as well as Wii games.
Built In Accessories - The game comes with two types of controllers. You can use an attachment joystick or a remote control device. These devices are wireless, which means no need to have to worry about long chords. The controllers also come with rumble feedback, speakers and even a motion sensor. You can have a maximum of four people play the game at one time. You can add video output and S-video output features as well, in addition to SD cards and Nintendo GameCube memory cards.
Additional Accessories - There are additional accessories that match the Nintendo Wii specifications as well. Some of these accessories include convenience accessories like an action kit or survival kit. Other accessories are for the purpose of playing specific games that come with the system.
Based on the Nintendo Wii specifications available, the system is certainly worth the price. However, understand that some of the accessories are almost useless and may not be worth the price. However, the bottom line is whether you enjoy playing the games and if you do, you should certainly consider purchasing it.

Wii Has Become A Huge Hit!

The NintendoWii game console has become a huge hit, so massively popular that it remains difficult to find it in stock. New controllers & games that are released are being snapped up as fast as retailers can get them on the shelves!
The Nintendo wii console itself is downright tiny--easily the smallest and lightest of the new generation of game machines. At 1.75 inches high by 6.25 inches wide by 8.5 inches deep (when set-up horizontally), it is, as Nintendo promised, about the size of three DVD cases.
Unlike other gaming consoles, the overall design of Nintendo Wii is very simple, making everything easy to connect and install. The back-wards compatibility of Nintendo Wii, means you can go online to the Virtual Console area of the Games Shop to download classic games released for NES, Super NES, Nintendo 64, Game cube, Sega Genesis, and Turbo Grafx16.
That equals serious savings if you have these older Nintendo systems and games already at home.
The Nintendo Wii comes with 512 mega bytes of internal memory for storing saved games, downloaded Virtual Console titles, and other data. If that half-gigabyte of onboard storage is not enough for you, the wii console has a standard Secure Digital card slot for additional storage.
SD cards are cheap and plentiful, (the same cards used for other electronics), and the Wii's use of them is a refreshing change from the proprietary memory cards used by older game consoles. Way to go Nintendo wii!
The gaming experience is awesome. When there are so many possibilities, so many wii games, it challenges creativity in ways that are hard to overcome on occasion, that is a very cool problem to have!
These Nintendo Wii controllers are what really set this system in a class by it’s self. These controllers are motion-sensitive, meaning the movement of the player and controller affects game play, so when you move your arm and controller up and down - your character also moves their arm & what ever they are holding up and down- cool huh!
These Nintendo Wii accessories are made to look and feel like whatever experience they attempt to emulate, and they succeed in a big way.
Get your new Nintendo wii game console right now, today. Before someone beats you to it! They still remain very hard to get, but you can buy nintendo wii right now. Plus many other wii items are available for you to select from. go ahead, you'll be glad you did. Nintendo wii isn't #1 for nothing.

The Wii Is A Console For The Whole Family.

The new Nintendo Wii is a console for the whole family.
The Nintendo Wii is the newest game console and is about the size of 3DVD cases stood beside each other. It comes with a front loading disc assembly that is able to take not only regular size CD's, but Wii discs and the smaller Game Cube discs as well.
It is driven by a PowerPC Processor from IBM and it really nothing more than a powerful version of the Game Cube that it is replacing. It also comes with a newly developed onboard graphics engine (made by ATI) and 512mb flash memory for storing games. It also allows you to connect an external memory card to it for more storage. Also the Wii has built in Bluetooth enabling which allows up to 4 cordless Wii controllers to be used at any one time so the whole family can play together (a family that plays together, stays together).
If that wasn't enough, there's more to this Nintendo buy. The Wii has 4 Game Cube controller jacks along the top so that if you want it can be used for corded play. Plus it has 2 USB ports for additional peripherals as well as 2 Game Cube memory card ports so you are able to load and possibly save Game Cube games to and from the Wii.
Another additional benefit of this Nintendo buy is that it has Internet access and there is USB. You can get an Ethernet adapter which in turn will give the Wii network capability should you want access to any of its online features.
The biggest benefit for most people, where the Wii is concerned, and those people who already own some Nintendo console such as the Game Cube, Nintendo DS etc, is that it has backwards capabilities. Can you imagine the money a family will save because they know that the kids Game Cube and Nintendo DS can also be used with the Wii and the whole family can play the games together?
A major advantage of the Wii is its parental control feature that comes with an update and prohibits the younger users from playing games that are considered unsuitable for their age level. Should your child attempt to play a game, the Wii reads the content rating encoded in the games data, and if the rating is greater then the age limit set on the Wii system, then the game will not load until the appropriate password is correctly entered. But unfortunately, this feature does not affect those games specifically designed for the Game Cube.
So overall the Wii looks like a very good Nintendo buy for a family. It is a very valuable game system as Nintendo are committed to producing games that are targeted to adults as well as for children to enjoy. Plus with its parental control option it means you can have a say on what games you kids play.

The console hit the market place some two years ago and became the most sought after brand in the world of video gaming. There's much more than just video gaming that the Wii offers. The Nintendo Wii

We're living in the age of overwhelming choice, so why wouldn't there be a number of different Nintendo wii memory cards offered to the customer in the market place. It shouldn't surprise you that the more capacity a memory card offers the more fun the game is because is.
A "stronger" or should I call it "bigger" memory card might just not be an accurate description anymore since a 2 gigabyte secure digital card is not bigger that a postage stamp. It still boggles my mind as to how these things can be produced as well as developed and above all they work.
Is there a smaller portable flash memory?
As far as market research can determine it, it seems that the Nintendo Wii Memory card, at least for now, has no competitor when it comes to be smallest portable flash memory available to date. We'll see when and how fast the competition is going to catch up with this.
This memory card on other gadgets such as your digital camera or your PDA etc. The card is an incredibly sophisticated device, it provides high speed and reliability. And a really nice addition to the above is that it is well priced, not to say cheap and will keep you happy and satisfied with its performance for a long time.
If you're a Nintendo game cube user, the Nintendo Wii memory card can be used to save your personal game information. The memory card has the capability to write date at a speed of 10MB/second. Just in case your mind and imagination needs some more stretching, the data exchange speed between the Wii console and the Wii memory card is capable to transfer at a rate of 6.7MB/second. Now I'm not sure that any of us have a real grasp at what this tangibly means, but believe me it is just simple A LOT, and it will be interesting to watch who's going to beat this in the near future.

The Nintendo Wii

The Nintendo Wii is a great games console. It is radically different from other game consoles available on the market. The games included with the Wii are excellent and introduce you to the Wii controller in a very appropriate manner. They all have the usual Nintendo feel and stamp of family fun. The Wii remote and the Nunchuck controller feel a little different at first, but they are very intuitive to use because using body movements to play games is far easier than just pressing keys.
Wii setup is pretty easy and enables you to start playing games fairly quickly. Playing games on the Wii is smooth and very absorbing. Even though Wii graphics do not have the best resolution, they are more than adequate for games. What is truly innovative is the design of the games controller, and the way Nintendo have integrated it into the manner in which you have to play the games. If you like to play games with friends and family, you will have to get a second controller to get into the spirit of things; you will not regret it.
The Wii wireless setup is also very easy. After connecting the Wii, you can immediately check sports, weather, and news over Nintendo's free online service. The Wii uses a standard SD card for memory. You can get a Wii high capacity memory card for a fairly reasonable price.
The battery life in the Wii leaves something to be desired. The Wii drains AA batteries fairly quickly. The Wii remote sometimes looses it's connection with the console when the batteries are low on power. The Wii wrist strap may not be very durable, but Nintendo are very prompt in dealing with any warranty claims you may have.
The quality of the materials and workmanship on the Wii is excellent. The Wii remote is sturdy enough to withstand being dropped by kids. The Nintendo Wii usually sells out very quickly, so get it as soon as it is available at your local store.
